In Comm 242, Intro to Film Production, I learned the basics of the film production process... from pre-production, production, and post production, this class enhanced my skills and knowledge many areas. Throughout this class, I had the chance to work with cinema cameras (Panasonic and Black Magic), prime lenses, three-point lighting setups, external audio, and even a dolly track.

My final film project for this class, “Expectations”, utilized all of the techniques listed above and more. Using Premiere Pro to edit, I utilized free online sources for sound design and sound mixing. Using Lumetri Scopes in Premiere, I also color-graded the 4K Black Magic RAW footage to achieve the look seen in the final cut.
