Hi everyone! My name is Brady Bast and I am a senior at Penn State with a major in film and a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation.

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to study film. It started with short videos on my ipod touch at the age of ten and has blossomed into some the most incredible opportunities with Penn State. At the beginning of my Penn State Career, I joined a weekly Live Production called Nittany Talk. Eventually I worked my way up to Executive Producer of the show, producing a 20+ minute SNL style show every Tuesday night. During my sophomore year, I was hired at CommAgency as a videographer/editor, producing video deliverables for real clients. From there I would go on to direct several client videos for CommAgency, eventually becoming the Post-Production Executive.

I spent a summer in State College interning with Affinity Connection, a local marketing company with a storytelling-centric approach. This exposure helped me to build skills with social media, websites, and client communication. During my junior year, I spent my spring semester in Los Angeles with the class of 2025 Hollywood Program. I interned with both Echo Lake Entertainment and White Horse Pictures. These experienced further improved my confidence with research, script coverage, spreadsheets, and professional communication overall.

Not to mention my involvement with 46Live as a general crew member for THON’s 46 hour livestream, a part-time position working in the Bellisario College’s Equipment Room, providing several tours to prospective students and their families, experience as a PA on several professional and student sets, and directing both a narrative and documentary film. In 2025, I was selected as a Bellisario Fellow representing the Film Major at Penn State. I am grateful for all of the incredible opportunities Penn State has presented me with over the years, and I am thrilled to be starting Bert & Brady Media during my senior year. WE ARE!!
